

// Tricolor halloween cookies
A magical touch in every bite
Tricolor cookies woven with magic 🔮, tender and flavorful with chunks of white chocolate
A recipe to enjoy with family and make this Halloween sweeter and more colorful 🧡💜🖤👻🕷
Ingredients (12 or 13 cookies of approx. 90g)
- 👻220g unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 🕸180g white sugar
- 🕷2 eggs
- 🧪1½ tsp vanilla extract
- 👹400g pastry flour
- ☠️15g baking powder
- 🧟4g baking soda
- 🔮250g chopped white chocolate
- 💀1/2 tsp coarse salt
- For coloring (optional)
- 👿1/2 tsp violet food coloring
- 🎃1/2 tsp orange food coloring
- 🖤1/2 tsp extra black food coloring
Elaboration
- 🕷In a bowl, beat the butter, add the sugar and mix until combined
- 🕸Add the vanilla extract, the eggs, and continue beating
- 🕷Add the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix and knead until a smooth dough forms
- 🕸Divide the dough into three equal parts and color them with your favorite food colorings
- 🕷Add the chopped white chocolate equally to the three doughs
- 🕸Form balls of about 90g (30g violet dough, 30g orange dough, and 30g black dough). Roll well so they are firm
- 🕷Wrap the dough balls in plastic wrap and store them in the freezer for 30 minutes or 1 hour in the fridge
- 🕸Preheat the oven to 170°C
- 🕷Bake the cookies for 14 minutes at 170°C (top and bottom heat)
- 🕸Let cool on the tray for 5–10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely
