Crunchy and delicious

Here I share one of my many favorite recipes 😍 Strawberry Crumble 🍓!! It's an easy and very delicious recipe 😋❤️

I like making this crumble during strawberry season and when I no longer have cookies or cake 😅... According to my husband, these are just excuses to make it 🤣 what I really want is to eat strawberry crumble and I invent excuses hahahaha 😅🤣

Ingredients: Base and crumble dough (rectangular pan 28x7x19cm (Length/Height/Width))

  • 🥣190g butter
  • 🍭180g powdered sugar
  • 🥚3 egg yolks
  • 🥄1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 🌾360g all-purpose flour
  • 🥄12g baking powder

Ingredients: Filling

  • 🍓450g homemade or store-bought strawberry jam (I made it homemade)

  • 🍓760g strawberries (cleaned and cut)
  • 🍬150g sugar
  • 🥄1 tsp pectin

Elaboration: Strawberry Jam

  1. 🍓Place the cut strawberries and sugar in a saucepan and cook

  1. 🍓Add the pectin when the jam starts to thicken
  2. 🍓Cook to the desired consistency (I like it a bit thick but not dry)

  1. 🍓Let cool before using
  2. 🍓If there is leftover, which there will be, store in a glass jar

Elaboration: Dough

  1. 🥧Beat the cold butter cut into cubes
  2. 🥧Add the sugar and beat until well combined
  3. 🥧Add the egg yolks and vanilla. Beat
  4. 🥧Add the sifted flour together with the baking powder. Beat, it will form a sandy dough, this is the crumble dough

  1. 🥧Separate 280g from the total dough (for topping the crumble)

  1. 🥧Knead the remaining dough until compact, if necessary add 1 or 2 tbsp of milk
  2. 🥧Grease and line a rectangular pan or the one you use and cover with the dough (base and 2cm on the sides)

  1. 🥧Pour the jam (450g) and cover with the reserved crumble (280g)

  1. 🥧Bake at 170°C for approx. 30 min, top and bottom heat

  1. 🥧Let cool and unmold

Notes

  • 👩🏻‍🍳You can place a little of the reserved crumble dough on the base before adding the jam. I usually do this
