

// Coffee flan with condensed milk
Soft and creamy
I’m sharing a classic recipe that’s super easy and always a hit 🤎
This coffee flan with condensed milk turns out super smooth, creamy, and melts in your mouth... one of those you just can’t stop eating 🤤😋 If you like coffee, you have to try it because you’re going to love it 🍮🥰
Ingredients (20cm mold): Caramel
- 🍭200g sugar
- 💧60ml water
Ingredients (20cm mold): Flan
- 🥚6 eggs
- 🍶370g condensed milk
- 🥛800ml whole milk
- ☕️200ml coffee
- 🌼1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- ☕️3g instant coffee
Ingredients: Decoration (optional)
- 🍶150ml whipping cream
- 🍭20g powdered sugar
- ☕️1/2 tsp instant coffee or vanilla
Elaboration: Caramel
- 🍬Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until you get a golden caramel. Pour it into the mold and spread it well.
Elaboration: Flan
- 🍮Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- 🍮Strain the mixture to remove possible egg bits (optional, but recommended).
- 🍮Pour into the caramelized mold.
- 🍮Bake in a bain-marie at 170°C for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- 🍮Let cool completely, refrigerate until the next day, and unmold.
Elaboration: Decoration (optional)
- 🍦Whip the cream until semi-whipped, add the powdered sugar together with the instant coffee or vanilla, and keep beating until firm. Transfer to a piping bag and decorate to taste.
Notes
- ✏️Caramel burns very quickly; as soon as it takes color, keep a close eye on it so it doesn’t turn bitter.
- ✏️You can make it lactose-free using lactose-free milk and condensed milk. For decoration, you can use vegetable whipping cream or lactose-free whipping cream.
