

// Egg flan with condensed milk
Smooth and creamy
Here I share a delicious, classic recipe with few ingredients and very easy to make. It’s an egg flan with condensed milk and a touch of vanilla, very creamy and smooth, it melts in your mouth 😋🤤
I must confess that I enjoyed every single spoonful 🤤😋😍💛
Ingredients: Flan
- 🥚6 eggs
- 🍶480ml condensed milk
- 🥛1l whole milk
- 🥄1 tsp vanilla essence
Ingredients: Caramel
- 🍭150g sugar
- 💧6 tbsp water
- 🥄1 tbsp lemon juice
Ingredients: Whipped cream for decoration (optional)
- 🍦100ml whipping cream or vegetable cream
- 🍬1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 🥄Vanilla essence (to taste)
Elaboration: Caramel
- 🍬Place the sugar, water and lemon juice in a saucepan
- 🍬Cook over medium heat until a thick, golden caramel forms
Elaboration: Flan
- 🍮Place all the flan ingredients in a bowl and mix. Strain to remove any egg parts that didn’t dissolve well (optional)
- 🍮Pour the mixture into the previously caramelized mold
- 🍮Bake in a water bath at 170ºC for 1:15h
- 🍮Let it cool completely
- 🍮Store in the refrigerator until the next day and unmold
Notes
- ✏️Caramel burns very easily. Once it starts to color, you must keep a close eye on it so it doesn’t burn. If it burns, it will add a bitter taste
- ✏️The mold I used is 24cm. If you want a taller flan, you can use a smaller mold or a 20cm flan mold
- ✏️You can make the flan lactose-free by replacing the lactose-containing ingredients with their lactose-free versions
