Red Velvet cookies with condensed milk 🌰🍫🍪🎄✨
Perfect cookies to enjoy during the holidays, easy to make and absolutely delicious 😋🤎🍪🍫!! This Christmas I wanted to try making cookies with condensed milk and give them a more original touch with praline chocolate, and honestly they turn out incredible 🤤🤤🌰🍫… I admit they didn’t work out the first time 🤫🤣🤭😬… but they did the second time hahaha 💪😍😋
Ingredients (8 cookies of approx. 100g each)
- 🧈130g unsalted butter
- 🥛250g condensed milk
- 🥚1 egg
- 🥄1 tsp vanilla extract
- ❤️1 tsp extra red food coloring
- 🌾250g pastry flour
- 🥄10g baking powder
- 🥄4g baking soda
- 🍫10g pure cocoa powder
- 🍫170g chopped praline chocolate
- 🧂1/2 small tsp coarse salt
Elaboration
- 🍪In a bowl, sift and mix the flour together with the baking soda, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder. Set aside
- 🍫In another bowl, beat the butter, add the condensed milk and beat until fully combined
- 🌰Add the egg and vanilla extract and continue beating
- ❤️Add the food coloring and beat until well combined
- 🍪Add the reserved dry ingredients mixture (flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and baking powder). Mix until a cookie dough forms (it will be a bit soft)
- 🍫Add the chopped chocolate. Mix
- 🌰Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes so it’s easier to shape
- ❤️Form dough balls of approx. 100g, place them on a tray, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 30 minutes or 1 hour in the fridge

- 🍪Preheat the oven to 170°C
- 🍫Remove the cookies from the freezer/fridge and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper (I bake 4–5 cookies per batch)
- 🌰Bake the cookies for 15 minutes at 170°C (top and bottom heat).
- ❤️Once baked, let them cool on the tray for 5–10 minutes, then transfer them with a spatula to a rack to finish cooling 🍫❤️
I hope these cookies bring you a colorful and very sweet Christmas 🎄✨❤️😘
