Fresh and creamy
Hi! 🥰 I'm sharing this delicious Oreo yogurt cake with you.
It's an easy, fresh, very creamy recipe with incredible flavor. I hope you like it! 💙
Ingredients: Base (18cm mold)
- 🍪154g Oreo cookies (1 package)
- 🧈30g melted butter
Ingredients: Filling
- 🥛150ml vegetable whipping cream (well chilled)
- 🍬70g icing sugar
- 🌿1 tsp vanilla essence
- 🥣500g plain Greek yogurt
- 🥛50ml whipping cream
- 🍃3 gelatin sheets (5g)
- 🍪154g chopped Oreo cookies (1 package)
Ingredients: Decoration
- 🍪7 crushed Oreo cookies
Elaboration
- ⚖️Weigh all the ingredients well.
- 💧Hydrate the gelatin sheets in cold water and set aside for the filling.
- 💙Cover the base of the mold with baking paper and use acetate or baking paper on the sides.
- 🍪Crush the Oreo cookies well and mix them with the melted butter.
- 🥄Spread the mixture over the base of the mold and press it down well with a glass or spoon. Set aside in the refrigerator.
- 🥣Whip the vegetable cream with the icing sugar and vanilla essence until firm.
- 🤍Add the Greek yogurt, mix and beat at medium speed until you get a smooth, slightly firmer mixture.
- 🔥Heat the 50ml of cream without letting it boil.
- 🌀Drain the gelatin well and dissolve it in the hot cream. Let it cool for a couple of minutes, add it to the filling and beat until fully incorporated.
- 🍪Add the chopped Oreo cookies and mix to distribute them well.
- 🥣Pour the mixture over the base and smooth the surface.
- ❄️Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, although ideally overnight.
- 🍪After the resting time, remove the plastic wrap, cover the surface with the finely crushed Oreo cookies, unmold and enjoy.
Notes
- ✍️If you don't have gelatin sheets, you can replace them with 5g powdered unflavored gelatin. Hydrate it in 25ml cold water for 5-10 minutes. Then dissolve it in the 50ml of hot cream and add it to the yogurt filling.
I hope you like this recipe a lot and enjoy it. See you in the next recipe! 🥰💙
